From an unexpected separation from a marriage of over 20 years, which resulted in deep hurt and brokenness seven years ago, I became confused, alone, angry, and afraid to face the future alone. My separation led me to feel rejection, shame, guilt, and condemnation. Being isolated from my family and feeling lonely and unloved, I began to seek comfort by rebelling against God’s will and living a life of disobedience and sin that only led me to become even more lonely and broken as ever. After realizing that this was not the path to fulfillment, healing, or joy, I began to pursue a deeper relationship with God. By His grace, power, and mercy, I gave my life to Jesus, became a Christian, found a new identity in Christ and began to pursue a life of righteousness. In addition to attending church regularly, I started going to a separated men’s group where I began to have fellowship with other men in a similar situation for godly fellowship, discipleship, and healing. Over time, I saw the value of this ministry and began to find healing in Christ.
